There are 18 schools in the defined Independent Conference by the DIAA. The Independent is a diverse blend of Diamond State Conference, Independent and Non-Conference which can be found on the [https://education.delaware.gov/diaa/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/12/Division-Alignment-DIAA-2025-2027.pdf DIAA Division Alignment Website]. For simplicity we have differentiated by Division 1 and Division 2 schools.

There are 5 schools in the defined Independent Conference by the DIAA.<ref>https://education.delaware.gov/diaa/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/12/Division-Alignment-DIAA-2025-2027.pdf</ref> All of these teams compete in Division 2 for Dual Meet competition and the Independent Conference Championships for Individual. he conference holds an [[Independent Conference Individual Tournament|individual tournament]] where participants wrestle to 8th for state tournament qualification purposes, but only the top 6 placements are awarded. The tournament also determines the [[Independent Conference Tournament Team Champions|tournament team champion]].
