There are 18 schools in the defined Independent Conference by the DIAA. The Independent is a diverse blend of Diamond State Conference, Independent and Non-Conference which can be found on the [https://education.delaware.gov/diaa/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/12/Division-Alignment-DIAA-2025-2027.pdf DIAA Division Alignment Website]. For simplicity we have differentiated by Division 1 and Division 2 schools.

Overview

History

Structure

There are 5 schools in the defined Independent Conference by the DIAA.[1] All of these teams compete in Division 2 for Dual Meet competition and the Independent Conference Championships for Individual. he conference holds an individual tournament where participants wrestle to 8th for state tournament qualification purposes, but only the top 6 placements are awarded. The tournament also determines the tournament team champion.
